Before it was a creative hub, the cSPACE Marda Loop building had a long history as a school. The King Edward School was built in 1912 and is one of Calgary’s few remaining sandstone buildings. It’s transformation into cSPACE MARDA LOOP was focused on preserving history and maintaining sustainability; our arts hub is certified LEED GOLD.
