Every day, STARS takes care of some of the most critically ill and injured patients in Western Canada. And we’re able to do it because we’ve built a strong connection to the community since launching in 1985. We’d like to invite you come and see what happens inside STARS, meet the crew members who carry out our mission and some of the patients whose lives have changed because of community support. We will be showing off our new H145 fleet, while saying a fond farewell to the helicopter that was there for us from the beginning – the BK117.
See our new Airbus H145 helicopter; bid farewell to the original workhorse helicopter, the BK 117; tour the hangar and learn about our mission.
The following food trucks will be available for visitors to purchase refreshments from:
- Calgary Mini Donuts
- Avatara Pizza
- Family Squeezed Lemonade
Self-guided tours. Drop in to explore the hangar and the helicopters and meet the crew.
Please wear closed-toed shoes
