Brochures will be provided with a map for the garden for a self-guided tour of over 1km and 19 unique and themed gardens.
Gardeners will be available at a table to answer questions.

Significance to Calgary
Silver Springs Botanical gardens is a fully volunteer run garden built on the site of the Birthplace Forest in Silver Springs which is managed by City of Calgary Parks.. In 2008 the first garden was created and since then the site which is over 1 kilometer long has grown to over 19 gardens. The Gardens have some unique areas to the City of Calgary.

- the largest collection of roses in Calgary
- a public Alpine and Crevice Garden created in partnership with the Calgary Rock and Alpine Garden Association

Parking accommodates about 10 vehicles but nearby street parking is available. The neighbourhood does not have any parking restrictions. On street parking is available within a block.
